Residential

Great design has proven to give positive effects on one’s well being.

Residential interior design is all about connecting with your interior space – balancing the structural elements into an environment to reflect your own personality and style. Whether it be a renovation, a new home build or the construction of multiple developments –  a fresh set of eyes can be over your project or builder’s drawings to identify any improvements that can be made.  Looking for ways to improve traffic flow, room layout, and potential problems. Completing a review before the first brick is laid can avoid costly ‘builder variations’.   Building and renovating can be a costly exercise – making sure you put in allowances for the finishing items is often overlooked at the beginning e.g. window treatments, furnishing, and landscaping.

“I love design and making your dream a reality – forget the headaches.” So where to begin? You will be guided through the process:

  1. Before we meet - think about how you live, the problems you have had with the new or current design, and think about your budget?  This will give me an insight as to what you are wanting to achieve. Visual inspiration is of great importance – I always ask my clients to have some images of what they love – this will give me a great guide to your personality and how I can apply what you love into your home.
  2. Initial Consultation – this is generally a 1.5 hr getting to know you power session to understand your requirements. It can also be used to make decisions and provide a clear direction for your queries.  Some clients choose to use a consult by consult basis – this may be for the client that knows what they want but need a little guidance, and others choose to discuss package options that provide more support.
  3.  Estimate – after our initial consultation I will formulate an estimate which will cover my costs and how long I think it will take, along with any material, décor, furniture or trade costs.  Costs are transparent then broken down to show all information in great detail.
  4. Source – you will be provided full schedules from mood board, 3D design, plans, furniture list, project time schedules so you know when services or products will be delivered or carried out.
  5. Project management – from overseeing trades, suppliers and purchasing to delivering and styling the room.
